Janna Cross is a local & independent South Bend, IN area small-business owner, artist and meditation enthusiast. She is founder of the Metatron: Meditation and Consciousness Exploration Center (Opening July 2026), Co-Creator of the Sunday Drive Meditation Collective (SDMC) and Co-Facilitator for the High Vibes Discussion Group (both founded in 2023), originally located at LangLab South Bend, Indiana.
Soon after realizing the benefits of daily meditation and a mindful outlook, Janna visited the KTC (Karma Thegsum Chöling) Buddhist Center in Columbus, OH to attend a Sunday group meditation. The experience of meditation in community left a profound peaceful and lasting impression. After returning to South Bend and finding no such place locally to attend, Janna was inspired to create a space for coming together with others to learn, practice and teach. She knows that by cultivating space for a middle path inward within each of us, the Michiana area will become a more calm abiding and fertile ground for present and future generations of peaceful living.
In August 2024, Janna became a Certified Meditation Teacher, Coach & Mentor through both the Complementary Therapists Accredited Association (CTAA) & Yoga Alliance/Continuing Education Providers (YACEP). She now offers both free and private meditation classes, one-on-one meditation coaching, and, “Mentor through Meditation” instruction for at-risk youth & marginalized adults. (10/2024)
